Women's Social Sunday June: Headlands + Madrona Bakery 25 miles/+1,532' (Margie)

About this event

Margie Baer will lead us on a relaxed loop to the Headlands, the kinder, gentler way.  We will go via Fort Baker and climb up to GGB west side parking lot.  Then we'll descend Alexander part way and take a left on Bunker Rd, through the tunnel and voila!  We'll do a 332 ft gradual climb up to Battery Townsley for a photo op and then Rodeo Beach for a bathroom stop and we head back to the start with a little jaunt on Gate 5 Rd harbor side!  We will ride directly to Madrona Bakery in Mill Valley Downtown or you can proceed straight to return to the bike turnabout start.

The post ride lunch stop will be Madrona Bakery off Throckmorton Avenue, an incredible Mill Valley downtown staple started by 2 friends Gemma Aron and Nicola Carey in 2023.  Fill up on cookies, pastries, breads and sandos; check out their menu below.  Then it's an easy peasy down hill 1.5 roll back to the start.  Come on it's worth it!
