About this event

Train with us for the Marin Century! This ride is the fifth of 13 weekly Sundays gradually progressing, to get you ready to ride 100 miles on August 1.

This week the climbing is much tougher. We will ride a 40 mile lollipop starting at Stafford Lake Park, ascending Wilson Hill to the Spring Hill loop, then returning back over Wilson Hill. Build that strength for the Century!  Pace will be social to leisurely, averaging 10 - 14 mph moving speed, depending on the participants.

Road bikes with slick tires are recommended. Make sure you have two, full, large water bottles. We will regroup for water and bathrooms in Helen Putnam Park in both directions (miles 13 and 27.

You are welcome whether you are riding the Marin Century or not. If you missed the first rides in this series, but feel able to ride 40 tough miles, come along!
