About this event
You've got to drive up to Petaluma for this ride. This time we are meeting at McNear Park. Park your car on F Street near 10th Street along the park perimeter. We'll gather at around F St X 10th. Bathrooms are next to the playground. Take the path in at F & 10th and you'll see the green bathroom structure to your left.
Our in-house foodie, Susan Nawbary, cooks up yet another delectable caper. To work up an appetite we'll take Windsor Dr to Spring Hill Road, 2.8 miles/501 vertical feet ascent, 3.9% average gradient. The 2nd climb is a relaxed 171 ft climb on Roblar Road. We will travel on the Sonoma county backroads to Two Rock and Roblar; a brief rest stop at Cotati La Plaza Park (mi 23.7) and it's homeward bound via Penngrove then Petaluma Blvd. We are going to Della Fattoria (143 Petaluma N) towards the end of the ride and we hope you'll come with us. Della Fattoria, a European style bakery cafe, is well known for its artisan breads and bakery items. Do sample their sandwiches that are made with locally sourced meats, cheeses and produce. We'll order at the counter and enjoy our forage at the plaza park next door.
Bring water and snacks. Social pace ride. Regroups as necessary.
Please make sure your bike is in good repair and bring spares (tubes, CO2 cartridges, tire levers, tubeless repair kit and a multi tool)
