Location: Marinwood Community Center

Route: Route Map

Description:
Classic Marshall Loop starting from Marinwood.  This rolling route goes out from Novato via bike paths and lower traffic volume roads.  Regroup at Miwok Park for bathroom and water.  Save your legs for Marshall Wall, westbound.  Take a breather at Toby's at Point Reyes Station + a restroom stop, then to Nicasio, up and over Big Rock and you are done for the day.  Climbs of the day are Marshall Wall, 2.6mi/+555 vertical ft/4.3% avg. gradient and at the tail end of the ride up to Big Rock, 1.5mi/+268 vertical ft/3% avg. gradient.  Other regroups and stops as determined by the ride leaders.

NOT A NO DROP RIDE.  Not a beginner's ride.

Other pace riders welcome but should be prepared to provide their own navigation.
If you ride way slower or faster than the main group you will be separated and will likely be riding on your own.  Try to find a small pod who knows the way and stick together.  Please review the route well in advance of the ride.  Download it to your bike computer or print out a cue sheet.
