Route: WSS August Super Duper Headlands
Regroups: Regroups as determined by the Ride Leader(s), mostly at major turns and at the tops of climbs. We will try to stay together so please expect a lot of stops.
Description: Susan N and Helen Kwong leads a SUPER DUPER relaxed loop to the Headlands, the kinder, gentler way. We will go via Fort Baker and climb up to GGB west side parking lot. Then we'll descend Alexander part way and take a left on Bunker Rd, through the tunnel and voila! A 332 ft gradual climb up to Battery Townsley for a photo op and then Rodeo Beach for a bathroom stop and we head back.
We will stop back at the bike circle start then proceed to refuel with...you guess it, SUPER DUPER BURGERS. It's just a short and flat 0.8 mile jaunt on residential streets. Click on the Super Duper logo below to browse their menu. There is a low carb option called Naked Bird and vegetarian burger too. So what do you say? Come ride with the ladies!
